I just had my battery replaced under warranty so I was playing with different settings to get the maximum battery life. In the past I have always left my Bluetooth running because I occasionally sync my Blackberry and I have a Bluetooth mouse I use occasionally. I started turning off my Bluetooth when I was not using it and noticed a significant boost in battery life, close to 35%. Is this normal for the Bluetooth module to drain that much battery life when running?

That ain't normal
, BT was designed to be low power to work with mobile devices, you sure it's not something else
? I think a bluetooth chip would melt if you ran enough power through it to decrease bat life by 35%

How long have you had the E1505 and under what conditions did they replace it? I have a 6 cell that I got just over a year that is about to die(still under warranty though)...Do I have any shot at a replacement? -
Batteries are not under the extended warranty.

My battery was lasting right around 1 hour when I called to have it replaced. It was replaced under the standard 1 year warranty; it was about 11 months old.

I've done several tests and it always comes about to be about 30-35% difference all other settings being the same. My test parameters are 50% brightness with Wi-Fi on. Bluetooth enabled about 2 hours. Bluetooth off, a hair over 3 hours.
