    Hey,
I just reformatted by new e1505. I deleted the restore partition and combined it with the c partition so that no space is wasted, I left the 49mb partition. The only problem I encountered was that the Dell driver cd did not have a driver for my Video Card (x1300) or my network card. I'm currently downloading them from the dell support site.

    Now, my question.

When I do the Function button (Fn) and hit the little wifi thing on F2, the light on the area that has the caps lock lights does not light up. It did before I reformatted. It is not a big deal to me, but i was aesthetically pleasing and if this is not working because of something, it makes me think what else is not working because of that thing.

    Any tips?

Install Quickset from the cd that came with your computer, or you can downlaod it from Dell's drivers page

QuickSet isn't needed for those lights to work... they should work once you get your network card (I assume you mean wireless card?) drivers installed.
