I've noticed the e1505 only has two mouse buttons. I'm a big user of FireFox and I would have a hard time living without a middle mouse button (used to open links in a new tab). On my wife's Compaq V2000, I can push both buttons and it acts as a middle button click. Can someone who owns an e1405, e1505, or e1705 let me know if the Dell buttons work the same way?
Thanks,

Yes, they do. It's also configurable in the control panel for the touchpad.
I prefer using Control+Click for that, though. -
I've got a 6400 and knew that if you pressed both mouse buttons together it acted like a middle mouse button, but I didn't know this type of click opened a link in a new tab in Firefox, I press Ctrl + left click. Brilliant!

actually press both buttens at the same time and it opens a new window, well at least on mine

Yes it is brilliant, that's why I was concerned when I saw only two buttons!
Hmm, what version of FireFox? I've been using this middle click feature to open and close tabs for as long as I've been using FF. I'm currently running 1.5.0.6. It may be configurable in one of the options.

I love the middle click feature in Firefox.
It is really easy on the E1505/6400 because of the "soft" mouse buttons. -
I use the all-in-one mouse gestures, very nice for manuvering through firefox. And even if it doesn't have a middle button, you can always get a mouse which would be better because then you aren't wearing your touch pad out.

And even if you don't like the "press two buttons" setup I'm pretty sure that theres some crazy firefox add-on to change that, Tab mix plus lets you do that.
