Crucial and dell both say the max the e1505 can take is 2 gigs (1 gig per dimm).. Is this true or can i do a 2 and a 1 to get the 3 i want (i dont want to purchase vista 64 bit cause all i need is 32 bit)

I would go along with whatever crucial says.

Two guys say they managed to successfully install 4GB (3.25GB detected) : 1 (post #14) , 2 (post #10). DELL is more likely to be correct than Crucial, but both companies could be wrong too.
