What's the difference between these two notebooks? Is the e1505 lighter?

They are based on different processors and chipsets. Physically, almost identical with the E1505 being a tad lighter. Reviews of both are posted in the reviews section.

Core Duo is big advantage with the E1505

There are a lot of threads already in this forum about it, so if you look there, you will find all the info you need :)

Heard that the e1505 are slightly thinner than the i6000 as well. :)

The biggest difference between the two is the core duo. Depending on what you specs your order on the E1505, you'll get a faster machine than what you would see on the 6000. Core duo is better for multi-tasking, gaming, etc.

The E1505 is the replacement for the 6000, so the 6000 can no longer be ordered from Dell unless you go thru their outlet.
