Ok, I just got my e1505: 1.66g core duo, 1GB RAM, 256mb x1400 video card. I stripped out all the Dell fluff and ran 3dMark05 and only got ~586. I tried with both stock drivers and with Omega drivers and got the same result. I have read a number of posts where most people with the exact same configuration are getting between 1500 and 1700 with 3dMark05, with no overclocking. Do I have a bad video card? Are there some hidden settings that I need to tweak?

Wow! Strange that 586 score sounds more like the intel 950GMA. I really don't know what to tell you. You could try talking to dell about this. Now did you run 3Dmark05 on battery power? If so, the clock speed of your cpu could have gone down because of a battery saving feature.

I have E1505 with the same Cpu and Ram with x1300 and got 1302 with dell driver so something must be wrong. Did you check device manager and see if you really have x1400?
