    anyone know if it reads SDHC, CF, or MicroDrives????

    SDHC: I think so but ask Dell to be sure...some commercial drivers will only recognize up to 2GB cards.
    CF: No...compact flash cards aren't the right form factor.
    Microdrives: No...they are as big as CF cards hence will not fit.

    thats what i thought, but then dell's site says it can read an IBM microdrive.

    WAIT...it says it can read it through the ExpressCard adapter...
    so i guess now i have two questions: 1) What does the "IBM" mean? 2) Does this mean i can just slap a microdrive in there or what??

    reason im asking is because im looking into buying a jvc gz-mc200, and fom what i understand, it can use a 4gig microdrive as media...

    Yup. You'll need an adapter, as stated in the link you provided above, to use a Microdrive.
