I went to look at the 6000 today, and instead I was greeted by a brand new e1505! The core duo, lighter weight, and trulife screen make for a very appealing 15.4" notebook, but it only has integrated graphics. I saw in another thread that the e1505 was anticipated to have a dedicated x1300 or x1400, do y'all have any idea when they might show up on the site? I may have to wait to get it until they're offered, as I don't know anything about the quality of the intel 950. In any event, it's nice to see a brand new notebook from dell =).

I am just speculating...but I think it will be about a month. They are going to clear out all the old stock before they offer the "replacement" for some of the others. That is why initially they only offer the integrated like they did for the I6000.

Super! I was just reading that the 945g chipset comes with a pci express x16 slot. So I could get the e1505 now with just the integrated graphics, and upgrade at any time to a pci express x16 video card? Would it have to be one of those "sanctioned by dell" things?

You cant get the intergrated and then the pci-e because they are separate motherboards. One is the 945gm and the other 945pm.
