Just got my e1705 on Wednesday, I formatted and installed new drivers for everything. However there is one driver I can not find it is called: SM Bus Controller. Windows can't find a driver and I don't know what the hell it is. Where can I get this driver? Also does my WUXGA screen require a driver? I just see generic driver listed for it (no exclamation points or anything) and it seems to run fine.

Try reinstalling your chipset driver for the SM Bus problem. You should have installed two drivers : Ricoh and Intel driver in the chipset category

No, you don't need to install a specific driver for your screen. The video card driver acts takes care of your LCD.

Ok that worked perfect, but now I noticed another problem. Apparently windows is detecting a new peice of hardware it is calling base system device, and can't find the drivers for it.

Could be the Ricoh drivers for the SD reader.

The base drivers are the ricoh like count suggested. You have to install both the Intel driver and the ricoh driver (intel first, then ricoh). That should fix all of the missing drivers.
