2 - 9 Cell Batteries a realistic requirement here? Your opinion?

I would say it depends on what your requirements are. If you're travelling on intercontinetal flights - you'll need at least 1 9cell

if you can afford two and you want to run it on battery alot then yes i would, my 9400 only lasts about 2 and a half hours running on battery using the 9 cell (i have my laptop running on flat out performance all the time, it would probably last longer if i set quickset to max battery). Otherwise if your stretching the budget then i probably wouldn't bother

If you want 5+ hrs then 2 - 9 cell batteries isn't a bad idea. You can also buy an external one if you need it.

If your going through Dell, keep the 6-Cell as the primary and add on a 9-Cell as an additional. It's a good buy, and good amount of time.

What I'm concerned about is having 4 to 6 hours of dvd watching or Intense PC Gaming (if the need arose)....

I'm hoping 2 9cells will do the job.

i think 4 hrs is more near the mark , i dont think you'd get more than that.

i got mine with one 9 cell- i was short of budget after ordering my 1705 2 weeks ago so i found a place online that sells them on e-bay new-55.00 US plus shipping..total $75. Works great..got 4.5 hous on medium setting during work..good test...plus has charge light right on batt...Kinda nice to ck it before you put it in, on the road.

here is the name of the company
    Portable Components, LLC
Do a search for i9400 9 cell batt. always seems to have auctions going
