I know that Windows doesn't have DVD drivers and it's the codec that comes with PowerDVD that is responsible for DVD playback. the computer in question is an e1705, 1.83Ghz, 7800 with the Creative "Premium" sound option. The problem with DVDs is that the sound comes out skipping/jagged/not right. Anyone else have this problem? I still have to try reinstalling PowerDVD on it but who knows, seems more like a sound problem than a DVD problem.
