Hi all. Whenever I watch dvd's on my laptop, the video looks SUPER grainy, and I'm not exactly sure why, but it always looks that way, no matter the movie. I usually watch using the media direct program, since the only other one I have is windows media player, and for whatever reason (which I'd like to know if anyone can tell me) doesn't ever stretch the video out the full width of the screen. my specs are below, thanks for any help!

    2.16 core 2 duo
    windows xp
    17" truebrite wxga 1900x1200 screen
    2 gb ram
nvideo 7900 graphics card with 256mb ram

*edit* by the way, I have the screen set at 134dpi, which I was told was close to the "native resolution" of the screen. things usually look great in all other processes.
