i bought my e1705 about a month ago and ive had it for a few weeks, ive been using i8kfangui ever since i got it, and the program is suppose to turn on one of the fans on slow once the cpu reaches a temperature of 60 degrees celcius.

I can clearly hear the fan on, but for some strange reason, every 6 or 7 seconds or so, the fan would make a burst of speed and the sound and rpm of the fan would increase. Although the fan only does it for a split second, im worried as to what may be causing it.

The 2nd fan that cools the gpu doesnt make bursts of speed like the first fan.

Is there something wrong with my fan at all?

Maybe the temperature reaches the threshold where the fan goes on?

decrease the fan speed enforcing time. default is 200ms which is a bit much...the increase in speed is the bios kicking in then being controlled by i8kfangui once it checks again.

    EDIT:
    i think
