Well my old e1705 finally died after several graphic card and LCD replacements. I'm overseas at the moment, so when the local warranty provider said they could not replace it and only repair it, i shipped it back to a friend in the US to get proper service.

What is the most painless way to initiate a replacement? Can I do it over the internet, or will I have to make a bunch of calls? I had a 7900 GS and would like a similarly powerful graphic card, so how do I double-check what they're sending me as a replacement before its sent?

    Any input appreciated!

    Thanks!

Yep... Use the tech support chat - they can do cc claims (I have done it twice).
