Just curious as to what the maximum hard drive size is that the Dell E1705 will accept internally? I am starting to feel a squeeze on the internal drive and I am looking to expand on it.

Obviously I would like to stick this sucker in there if I can as it will virtually double my capacity--> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822145160

Any SATA (1.5Gbps...otherwise known as SATAI, SATA150, or just plain SATA) will work on that computer. So yes, what you have listed will work.

That's great to hear. It will be going on my plan for future upgrades now. I already maxed out the memory capacity per dell specs although chipset specs say I can go another 2GB and reports show that it will report 3GB available max to the system however I won't go there if I don't have to.

BTW I kinda figured that the 3Gb version of SATA would not work.
