    e1705 usb problem

    I have a problem with my usb drivers.I formatted my e1705 and istalled windows xp professional. It came with windows xp media center but I had another windows xp professional disk which didnt came with my laptop and installed it. But although I installed all off the drivers it shows in device manager that windows couldnt load usb drivers. What can be the problem and how can I fix it? Sory for my bad english :).

    laptop specs are :

    core duo t2400
    512 MB ddr2 533 Mhz ram
    100GB 5400 rpm hdd
    256 MB geforce go 7800 graphics card
    17 inch standart screen
    dvd writer

    What version of Windows XP you have ? Because you must have SP1 at least.

    Try updating XP. If I remember right, we use the standard XP drivers for the usb ports.

    Any other devices in the device manager showing up with no driver?

    I have installed windows xp with service pack2 and I have run windows live update after installing all of the drivers...

    I have found the solution.I just uninstalled the usb drivers and installed again and it worked :).Just like a classic windows problem...thanks...
