i had tons of fingerprints on the vostro.. i decided sine i use it on tons of things to try a small bit of the eagle one spray wax on the cover spraying it on a microfiber towel though and not directly on the 1500.. rubbed it in a little bit then wiped it dry and now i have a nice slick surface that has no fingerprints and seems to repel them a lot better.. any form of no silicone detail apray would probably work just as well as long as they are a water based formula..

Lol, you gonna wax the laptop?
-
lol yeah but just the cover...
-
would the turtlewax ice work?
-
not sure maybe... i dont use that so i cant try it out..
-
i htink ill just end up wiping it with some alcohol on a rag
-
why?? that may damage the finish... unless you are being sarcastic
-
Water and a damp cloth is all you need and it's free.
-
water would not get rid of the smudges from fingerprints.. just didnt do the job trust me i tried..

do the fingerprints get on other parts of the laptop besides the cover?
-
Iceman0124 More news from nowhere
If lightly damp cloth doesnt get rid of them, make sure whomever handles it to washes their hands after snacking and what not.
-
yes but not as bad on the inside plastic they also show up.. and inside they will come off with simple water
-
zfactor does the wax make the cover look shiny?
-
a little bit but let it dry for a few minutes then buff it off with a dry soft cloth and it will not be so shiny..this will also make it look "even" with no smudges..
eagle one spray wax...
