I have an earbud with microphone I use at times for my Motorola cell phone.

Also have this Inspiron 8600 with two jacks on side. One for microphone and other for speaker jacks being red and white from my headset I also use at times.

Is there an adapter or something I can use between my earbud mini jack and side jacks in laptop allowing me to use my earbud with microphone rather than headset?
    thanks.

Yes, radioshack should have what you want. Basically you need a 3.5" -> 2.5" jack adapter.

BTW, you name is funny, but i hope you stick around here for more than just this question. :)
