I have been having issues with my dell pc. When i plug it to the ac
adapter and when my rest wrists at the corners of the pc i get a small
electrical zap. I mainly get the zaps from the corners and the speaker
grille too. Also when i plug in my digital camera, it seems to got
"live" and when i touch the camera i get a slight zap too. I would like
to check if it is the adapter that is causing the issue as i totally do
not experience this problem in my school power sockets but power sockets
at home and at other places. This issue has come to a point where i want
to stop it as it can be a little painful and annoying. I am still
overall very happy with my pc except for this problem which my friend
encounters too. He has a dell Precision m65.
anyone got this prob too?

no, but call dell support they will be able to fix it.

Do you have carpet in the house? -
sounds more like an issue with your home's electrical system than your computer.

My upstairs has issues too, I've fried 3 mice and the USB ports on 1 laptop. It isn't good to have any electrical sensations going on when your use electronics. But the only time I've been shocked in the wrists by my laptop is when my house got struck by lightning. I would say that its a problem with your home electical system. At Home Depot you can pick up a little out let tester which all you do is plug it in and it will tell you if your outlets are correctly hooked up. Having carpet may also help generate a static electricity charge.

i also have gotten zaps from my e1705 laptop when my arms/wrists are touching the corners around where the white bumper meets the black plastic body beneath it. weird.

great now im afraid to touch my laptop. anyway sounds like house electrical
electric zaps?
