    My status on my laptop changed from "Production" to "Shipped" on the 30th of April. ESD also changed from May 2 to May 5th. The problem is that I am going out of town the early morning on May 5th.

    What are your guys experiences of ship times after receiving the status "shipped" how long did you guys have to wait? (I live up in Canada). Are there any chances they might ship early/on the weekend.

    edit: out of town i mean out of country, for a very long time

    dosen't the shipping company take it back to their place if you're not home?

    They attempt delievery 3 times, and then return it to sender.

    Call the delivery company and explain whats going on, and ask them to hold it.

    How long will you be away? Might be worth just returning it, and ordering it again later.

    its a 3-5 business day wait for the delivery to reach your home from nashville. it seems that the average time for the package to reach the toronto sorting center is 3 days. once it reaches the place, its usually next day delivery.
