    exploring the contents of the recovery partition?

    Is there a way I can go in and look at the filesystem and contents of the recovery partition on my Dell laptop? I want to take a look at a couple of things, and can't burn it to DVD or browse it at all.

    That particular discussion concerns files that are in the DOS version of a restore partition. The newer WinPE version of the restore partition will contain different files, but you use the same technique to open the partition and gain access to the files.
