    ok there is nothing in my express card slot on my 1520, but i pressed the button, and a dell placeholder thingy came out, i put it back in, but the button thing still sticks out and i cant seem to get it back in, wtf?

    I have an Inspiron 2200 with a similar setup. push the button in first then put the placeholder back in. thats what i have to do to get mine back in

    take the card out, push the button in until it clicks and stays in, then push the card back in.
