Try this super handy tool... http://www.mckenziedev.com/index.php...tory&Itemid=26

It gives you fan control as well as CPU, GPU, and Hard Drive temps. Hope that helps!

The program is called 19kfangui if the link doesn't work...google it!

I can't seem to find the 19kfangui online anymore...that link is where i got it from. Look up 18kfangui instead...sorry

It is just a patch to go to I9k fangui. You should be able to find it on the same site you downloaded I8kfangui from.

Download the fanio driver in that link. There is one call Fanio driver 2 rows above the I9kfangui. That should let the installation go through. :)

Hey photoguy, that is what my temps are too under gaming, except my cpu is higher, so that sounds good. I might try putting some thermal paste on the CPU and GPU this summer to see if I can lower the temperatures even more! glad you like the program.

Yeah, when it come to measuring temp, you should get 60-75C for your Nvidia card. The Pentium M floats constantly

I usually get those temperatures when I am playing a game so I think the normal temp would be a little bit lower around 43-50 something C.

Thanks for that. I didn't realize I left that off. Yeah, idle for 6800 is 43-50. The 7800 and gtx is a little above that.

Ohhh. My bad...yea I guess it makes sense that the 7800 has a higher core temp.
