I think many people have asked this question already..but

well anyways my problem is that when the fan turns on to high speed mode where you can REALLY hear it, it wont slow down again.. When I touch the keyboard, left part is cool( i think its because the fans there) but right side is hot/warm.

I am currently running my laptop on A06 BIOS, and I have a program called SpeedFan but I dont think it does any help so I never use it.

Does the fan eventually slow down? I don't think it's doing a good job cooling the laptop.

I've read about similar problems with fans on the Dell forums, but mine has been running pretty well. Whenever I get into deep gaming on HL2 or have had my laptop on for a long time, it might stay on for a while, but when I feel the air coming out, it's still hot. It has turned off several times though after exiting gaming and doing minimal things on the laptop.

The right side of the computer gets warm because that's where your (rapidly spinning) harddrive is. It's OK for that area to be hot.
