    hey people,
unfortunatelly media direct button issue  happened to me (my dad pressed the button when checking my new laptop - i warned all members of family not to push that button, my dad just came home knowing nothing about it and the first thing he did was ... guess what  ).
    my question stands:
1.) do i have to reinstall OS in general or is there any chance to avoid this as i have not only win XP (MD corrupted the partition) but also ubuntu OS that works properly?
2.) i definitelly want to avoid this in future... i have downgarded to XP from vista bussines so i have only MD 3,5 version... is it compatible with XP? i mean can i regurarly install MD version 3.5 and XP (plus Ubuntu) working altogether properly or XP does not work at all with media direct 3.5?
3.) if XP and media direct 3.5 are not compatible, which MD is the proper one for XP?

thx a lot beforehand for any hints and sorry about my english...
