    finding battery

    Stupid question. Where can I find my battery to see if it is one of the models being recalled? Thanks for the help in advance!

    what notebook do you have? most put it in the back (accessible from the bottom), while a select few from dell put it up front on the bottom.

    Look for a sliding tab (or two) that are near your battery...slide, and the battery should some out. There should be some labels somewhere on the battery...
