Hi, I would like to ask.... I have created an account in Vista, and I cant figure out, how to set the account in the way, that I can login only after fingerswipe.....right now I have 2 "accounts" on te login screen. In tells me to swipe the finger and the other just to login (if set would reguire password). Can I make these two settings into one? thanks

Not sure what u mean.... but i think you need those two accounts. One is the one you use with password and another one is with fingerswipe. Only to make sure you still able to login if your scanner broken or for the worst something happens to ur finger (;p)

:-D What Im trying to do is eliminated the icon of the other account. I dont want to have my account set with a psw. So right now there is an option to log into my computer by clicking only onto the first icon....no pass no scan neccessary....and the other is "log in by swipping your finger".....that I want to keep and the first one to cancel....is that doable?

It's actually one account with 2 authentication methods available to login with: fingerprint or password.

I could be incorrect about this, but this is what I recall:

I believe that what you are trying to do is not possible because if you don't have a password, Windows will just allow the login as soon as the name icon is clicked.

Depending on the driver, I have seen it with only one icon on the login screen, but, either way, the fingerprint uses Windows Login, and without a password, Windows Login places no restrictions on logging in.

You can swipe your finger without clicking in any of those 2 options and it will log you in. Not sure if that will work...

Why would you even want to remove being able to enter your password via the keyboard?? If anything happens to your finger, or for whatever reason the computer no longer accepts your fingerprint, you're screwed!!! Very bad idea!
