Hi, I have a question about when to install flashbios driver.
Can it be the last? or should it be the first?
I couldn't find any information on when to install so please help me.

it really should be the first, followed by chipset then notebook system software. You don't have to go in that order. If you end up installing something else first, then doing the BIOS, you aren't going to damage your system. Dell doesn't make it where you have to install the drivers in a certain order. It is just recommended to flash the BIOS first.

    Ok thanks a lot.
I was kind of freaked out when I figured out I haven't installed the flashbios yet, but I feel better now.

    Hey Southern,

I recently performed a clean install of my XP MCE, I had NO problems with the Media Direct button, thanks to your in-depth instruction....thanks! But I don't think I downloaded the BIOS file from Dell.com. My system's been working perfectly....and the device manager doesn't seem to show any drivers are missing.....should I still download this file? Would it do any damage to the system if I did it now?
