Hi, i just received my 710m and my 17'' dell monitor. I was wondering the best way to connect these.

i got the targus universal docking station with video, but when i connect the monitor to the there is a delay and video is choppy. i believe this is because it runs through the docking station and then a USB from the docking station to the 710m.

would it be easier to connect it directly to the cpu? i dont mind this but the whole idea of getting the docking port was so i could have everything organized and hooked up to the port and remove my lap top with ease.

from reading up on the docking port it seems i should be able to connect the monitor with no problem ... am i doing something wrong (settings or something maybe)?

any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks guys, love the board!
