Has anyone got Full HD on the studio 15, and when you put it to full HD, how does everything look?

    Does it look too small?
My laptop is scheduled for tomorrow AM delivery

I have the 1080p screen. It is the best laptop screen I have ever seen! (although I have yet to use a xps 16's rgb screen)

The text is quite small but I have no problem reading on it. when I am browsing the net and I have the laptop a bit further away than usual I just increase the font size of the websites (control and mouse wheel)

I've also ordered the Full HD-display and i gotta say that even though people talk good about it i'm a little concerned.

I've never been a fan of extremely high resolutions and now i will HAVE to use a high one. REALLY high.

Plus in games i'm gonna turn down the resolution to maybe 720p. How much will THAT affect the screens sharpness?! Another concern.

The laptop arrives tomorrow so the answers are just around the corner. Gonna post my oppinions about it after testing it out. If i don't have a problem with the display then no-one (with good eye-vision) will have. :)

Yeah, I have the exact same concerns about losing the sharpness if I put the resoluton down, etc.

My laptop is also coming tomorrow. Yay

I ordered my system with the 1080p Full HD screen. At first I thought the text was small etc, but I got used to it quickly and now I even prefer it over the bigger text. If you turn down the resolution lower, the sharpness does decrease noticably. So if you want the best quality you'll have to keep it at the highest resolution.

In games, I use a lower resolution to run smoother and it seems the sharpness or quality is the same, atleast in WoW. Things just got a little bigger.

If you decide 1080 might be too small for you, I suggest go for the 900p display because a lot of people have said the quality of the 720p screen is terrible.

If text is too small, increase the DPI rather than decreasing the resolution. Default DPI is 96, try setting it to 120.

    yay.

I am typing from my new studio 115, the new full HD screen is beautiful and surprisingly easy to read tbh.
