    Hello all,

I am working on a loaned Dell Inspiron 2200 with Win XP.
Lately when I try to type something into any search box the text wants to try and input a word like a text messaging on a phone does. It also won't allow me to backspace over the text the cursor just sits there when I select the backspace. This happens in any Explorer, Firefox, or windows search box. It did not do this when I first started using it so I think somebody (kids in the house) started playing with it one day when I left it open.

I think it has to do with some function key but I don't know this Dell so I am at a loss to what function key would make this happen

I hope somebody has run into this issue.

Thanks for any help solving this.
