It seems a lot of ppl are getting big screens to go with their 12.1" notebooks so i was thinking of doing the same thing and buying a 22" Acer screen i found on newegg for a good deal.

So my question is if i can play games like source on their resolution 1650 X 1050 fine? if not what resolution should i play it at. I want to be able to play on a window as well.

    thx in advance

Play at the resolution that is best suited for your hardaware and preferred image quailty settings, for most current titles, 1680x1050 is out of the question, modern panels scale very well for games, running out of native res while gaming isnt near as big a deal as running out of native for the OS GUI. I have the acer 22" AL2216W and the 19" AL1916W for my desktop system and I'me completey satisfied with them, especially for the price, clear, bright, and no noticable ghosting effects at all.
