getting comps in the uk...

i am currently sitting here xps 1330 less after having waited since the 13th of july, still awsaiting my second ESD of the 31st of august to arrive but i am fairly miffed to say the least.

despite trying my best i cannot seem to get any sort of comensatation from dell at all via the phone route and unless i am mistaken i cannot chat here in the uk at all.

i have been promised 'priority' for delivery but that seems to be as useful as a chocolate teapot so i am no stuck.

they say that i can discuss comps after it has arrived but not before, which is painful to say the least.

has anyone had any joy with dell in the uk getting a discount or am i just waisting my time?

is there any way at all to even speak to someone from uk based dell at all or is that a pipe-dream as well?

if you ordered on the 13th of july you wont hit that date. you'll be pushed back to october.

I have a UK representetive via my company and hes as usless as any of them these days. Got me an amazing price on it..but thats an amazing price for thin air at the moment.
