    gift card arrival time

    When I bought my dell 1330 through the EPP program, I choose to extend the warranty coverage to 4 years for $80 with a $70 gift card coming back to me.

    It's been more than a month since my purchase and I was wondering when others have received their gift cards. I've seen other threads indicating that dell sometimes is not so good at delivering the gift cards, so I'm wondering when I should start hounding dell.

    The good thing about the $70 card is it always shows up on your order confirmation. I think about a month or so sounds right.

    I purchased a Vostro at the end of November with a $75 gift card. It took about 7-8 weeks to come in the mail.

    I also help purchased a Vostro last August for my boss. This one came with a $70 gift code. I thought it was supposed to be a card. In Mid-December I called Dell Cust. Serv. to see where it was and they said they e-mailed it to me at the beginning of December. I told them I didn't get it so they cancelled the old code and e-mailed me a new one for $75...

    I think the process is slightly different for the warranty based cards though.
