Hi, I ordered a e1705 and it should be comming in this week, the problem is is that i oredered a 6 cell battery, and i wanna buy a 9 cell on ebay, and you use a 6 cell and a 9 cell at the same time, and then where would the 9 cell battery go? , where the dvd drive is removable?

You can't use both batteries at the same time - the E1705 only has one battery bay. The DVD drive is not officially removable, but if you remove the screws underneath it, it will come out. I don't see why you would want to remove the drive, save for if you were upgrading or changing it for another.

You can't use two batteries at the same time in any of the Inspirons.

Eh, you save about 10 dollars if you buy it from them when you buy the unit. I bet if you gave them a call you could get them to sell you one at that price
