    omg this is by far the worst i have seen yet, the auo i had was SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS IS!!!! i can even stand to look at it... this is going back and im done goodbye dell

    I have an SEC and it is fine 0.o Maybe some people are just anal as hell or there really is some crazy inconsistency with the manufacturing process.

    I thought it was that the AUO was crap, and the SEC3350 was good? I heard that the LPL kicks ass tho, hope i get that one on my 1720..

    dells are not my cup of tea and obviously there are many out there that agree and disagree with my opinion.

    each to thier own!

    also I don't know what an AUO is, could you please explain?

    My SEC is horrible, I think there just must be an inconsistency. The whites are definitely speckled, light what your cellphone looks like when it is greasy with your face (urgh) and the colors are odd.

    ya teh samsung is definitely a horrible screen. the color reproduction is completely off and there is still grain all over the computer. it's brighter and has a horrible backlit problem.

    already handed it to ups lol.. they are right next door to my business.. DELL REFUSED TO SEND ME A LPL REPLACEMENT SCREEN... I TRIED SINCE I KNOW I COULD SWAP IT MYSELF EVEN ... I USED TO WORK IN THE PHOTOLITHOGRAPHY DIVISION OF IBM REPAIRING THE MACHINES THAT HANDLE THE WAFERS... i mean c'mon... im so pissed right now... they absolutely refused.. also the in home warr i added to the system does not show on my invoice.. so they told me i had to send it in.. they better be refunding me for it since i def paid for it.. im so pissed... ill miss the system i really will i really liked it excpet for the screen.. but to me thats the most important..

    wsxga+... .....wush i would have just ordered that on the vostro in the first place it seems everyone who is getting vostro's is getting the lg screens.. the rep attitude today just ticked me off and i said forget it i dont want another one
