    i have dell inspiron 1520, with x3100 onboard gpu..
    as i see, the gpu drivers on the site are outdated, where can i get the new ones?
    i am using winxp..

    i have downloaded it, but upon running, after the self-extracting, i get a message saying its not compatible, or rather that it could not detect the hardware..

    should i uninstall the previous ones? S:

    same thing happens with the 8400M GS on my M1330, the only way around this was to change the .inf file that comes with the NVIDIA drivers (in my case) with a modded .inf that can be found at www.laptopvideo2go.com however I dont know if they make modded .inf files for your hardware!

    uninstalling the previous drivers actually allowed me to install the new ones, case's solved. thanks.
