This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    graphics problem....i think

    So lately my d620 has been doing this weird thing. don't really know how to describe it so i'll just show you a pic. [​IMG]and those things move and disappear and reappear too....kind of weird. thoughts anyone?

    that could be the contacts on the video card.. if it were a desktop you could just pull out the card and clean the contacts.. but this is different.. it could also be XP glitching.. at one point, my tv tuner wasnt working and i was getting frustrated.. i had cleaned the contacts on it, reinstalled the drivers, and finally i thought the card just went out so i gave up.. but then i reformatted and reinstalled xp and boom... it worked.. i would say try a reformat.
