sup!?!? im planning to buy a new dell laptop, i'm not a hardcore gamer but do occasionally play little hardcore games, so my questions r:

    1. 15.4 inch Wide Screen XGA Display with TrueLife ™
15.4 inch Wide Screen WXGA LCD Display
15.4 inch UltraSharp ™ Wide Screen SXGA+ Display with TrueLife™
    [add $100 or $3/month1]
High Resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch display (1440x900)
    [add $50 or $2/month1]

the above displays which one is good for me in a normal room condition, with pretty good light source, and playing games in medium-high graphix?
also, is there bottom 2 displays realli worth it? and which one of the top 2 displays is better?

    2. Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5450 (2MB cache/1.66GHz/667Mhz FSB)
    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7300 (4MB cache/2.0GHz/800Mhz FSB)

is there a significant amount of performance/speed difference between the above 2 processors if the laptop is used for burning dvd video and medium-high gaming?

    3. Dell Wireless 1505 Wireless-N Mini-card [add $60 or $2/month1]
---> is this wireless card worth it? how popular is wireless-N right now?

    4. Dell Wireless 355 Bluetooth Internal (2.0 + Enhanced Data Rate)
    [$20 or $1/month1]
---> will this bluetooth thing work with data transfer with cell phone?
---> also, some usb bluetooth reciever is really cheap, should i get dat
    instead?

please answer my questions asap,.........very appreciate ur expert opinions

    THanks! :D

1)From my experience, the standard widescreen xga with truelife is great for me. Definitely great for games and I dont think its worth the extra 50-100 to upgrade unless you really need HD quality.
2)Yes, T7300 is quite a bit faster in reality because of the 4mb cache. However, with DVD burning and some gaming I dont know if youll see a difference. The main reason I got the t7300 is an increase in battery life, so that may be a consideration for you.

hmm just make sure you have the 8600 if your planning to game

    1. display really depends on personal preference

    2. i would go with the T7300 unless money is a strong cionstraint where the T5450 should still do adequately

    3. depends on your wireless router? =O

    4. if your cell phone has blue tooth

not sure about the usb bluetooth recievers but you could install an internal bluetooth aftermarket (i'm pretty sure you can)

you can but its cheaper to pay 20$ for the module/installation than pay $60 for the module and install it yourself later on

T5450 should be great, get the highest possible resolution, 1680x1050! It will spare you scroll time in the future
