    hard disk capacity?

    I have got a 60 GB harddisk dell. it must be 58,593 but partition magic show it 55,796. where is my 3 GB and why can't i see it? Second day I bought my laptop I formatted it. So there mustn't be a media direct partition or something. Am i wrong?
