    hard drive sound

    What's with my hard drive? It's making the processing sound (crunches) every other 3 seconds or so. It's annoying. Is this even normal for a new hard drive?

    Thanks for the link deadsimple.

    I posted a simliar thread not too long ago looking for fixes for the constant noise of my hard drive. I was thinking about putting washers inside the case or installing some kind of cloth around the drive to dampen the noise:laugh: so this is something I'm definitely going to try before I get into that mess.
