    has any Australian bought a dell 1720 w/t a 9 cell battery and been angry that it sticks out the back (my mum baught me one for christmas [it hasnt arived yet] )when i was looking around i thought the battery was just normal size but i found this thread http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=143183 and its huge :mad: i just wanna no if any australians had this problem and wat thy did and if they gpt a new battery

    LOL unlucky i bought a 1720 as well but without the 9 cell i bought the 6 cell so im happy i don't usually take it around any ways thats why i just bought the 6 cell.

    I knew the battery stuck out, so I didn't get one. Like DaeScope, mine doesn't really go anywhere so it doesn't matter having the smaller battery.
