    you might get bottle necked...

    isnt it $100 from 1.5 to 1.8, 1.8 to 2.0, and 2.0 to 2.2? and $250 for 2.2 to 2.4 -_-

i think it would be $200... i'm too lazy to check the site though =p

It is actually $250 for the 1.5GHz to 2GHz. Considering that's adding 20% onto the cost of your laptop (and more after taxes) I don't think it's worth it if gaming is your main concern. The 8600M GT should not be bottlenecked by the 1.5GHz Core 2 for gaming. However, if you're looking to do more CPU intensive things, such as encoding or perhaps virtualization, then look towards the 2GHz Core 2 Duo as that supports hardware virtualization as well, which the T5250 does not as far as I know.
