i have about 2 hours before my last chance at buying the extended warranty from best buys geek squad. i have an inspiron 1525 with a 2.0 ghzprocessor and 3gb memory and 250 gb hard drive, which i got for $599. my question is this...should i buy the service plan they offer for 3 years at $179 which basically covers everything the manufacturers warranty covers for the first year? they alsooffer an accidental damage insurance which can be added on their for an additional $100...HELP ASAP PLEASE

In my honest opinion, I believe that if there's any serious hardware problem with the laptop you would have found it in the first year......since most of the new computers have 1yr warranty to cover that problem.....I don't buy the warranty myself.....but this depends on your budget and how good you take care of your computer.....if you are an average laptop user and willing to spend the money then go for it (it's not that expensive anyway)......if you take good care of your laptop and hate to spend that extra money....then don't buy it......but many people do recommend you to buy it
