alright here's the deal. i really am excited about getting my laptop cos it will be my first. but i didnt put any coupon in when i ordered. it's a 1521 plus the protection and it came out to over 1300. i kno i can do better than that! so i figure with the coupon now i was able to get pretty much the same specs plus a better graphics card and it came out to just over a thousand. but i also have to add the 3-yr protection that i got so i don't need to pay any interest. so i should drop the 1521 and get the 1520... right? i mean.. whats an extra months wait lol. i don't NEED it. i just want my baby very badly :p

please let me know what y'all think.

absolutly imo.. i think you could easily get a better system for the same price with the 1520 and the coupon IF YOU USE THE DELL CARD BE VERY CAREFUL they have screwed so many people i know with ridiculous interest rates and they ended up not getting the deffered like they were supposed to.. check online and do some reading there are even class action lawsuits pending against dpa and cit bank for this

but yeah the 1520 im sure you could set up to blow away that config you have listed for around the same price

You can get the vostro 1500 right now for $599 - T5470, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD, 8400M GS, integrated webcam.

I still have no idea why anyone would pay so much more for the inspiron. It just doesn't make sense.
