    Can anyone tell me how to adjust this? I just got my 6000 and the display is kind of dull. the dell guy was clueless. any help would be appreciated!!

    I do not know how to change it. The guy at Dell told me I could do it with the adjustments on the side of the lap top. There are not any things on the side to adjust it. the screen is very dull and I want to brighten it up so it is easier to see.

    have you tried Fn+up arrow/down arrow?

    haha, not a genius. make sure to check out the Dell Quickset utility (if you desire to use it) where you can create profiles regarding LCD brightness and other power saving features.
