    help with s video out to Tv

    Uh i have a 1505 with teh ati X1400 and I cant seem to get teh tv to work. I hook up the s video to composite on my tv and it shows static and then i go into atis control center and i had to force tv detection and then i tried to copy my desktop to the tv but all i get is teh same static. Any help?

    Did you press Fn + F8?

    Hmm...wish I could help. I always just do Fn + F8 and then try to match the TV and lappy resolutions.....I bump lappy down to 800 x 600. Do you have another TV or S-vid in you can try it out on? Do you maybe have a bad cable?

    I think it is my cable... i tried using a s vid to s vid and that works, but my personal tv doesnt have s video so i guess ill have to head over to radio shack.

    Yea, you should be able to get an s-video to coaxial converter or something that will work.
