Im trying to decide whether to get a 6-cell or 9-cell for my comp (see specs in my sig.) I was wondering first, Does the battery stick down (i.e. props up the back of the computer) or does the battery stick out the back? second, How much battery differnce would I see, Im taking a guess and saying that the 6 cell is about 2.5 (2 hours 30 minutes) hours would that mean the 9 cell is 3.75 (3 hours 45 minutes) hours?

EDIT- ALSO I live on the second floor and my router is in the basement will dells chip suffice or the intel chip or the "n" chip? if so which ones?

It sticks out the back, but not down. See the review, or if there's no 1500 review, see the Inspiron 1520 review... it's the same machine except for the coloring.

If you have an N router, you should get the best range using an N wireless card.
If not, then an N card probably won't matter.
I'm not sure about the range as far as the Dell vs. Intel cards are concerned.

    Maybe this link will help.
If you're using b or g, there doesn't seem to be a difference between cards.
