when sometimes i try to open firefox and aim, it does nothing.. and I will have to go into task manager end the process then start it again for it to work?

Vista is trash, its really getting on my nerves. Dell better get XP drivers a f*ckin sap.

Then it seems like my internet is so slow? Could it be my drivers?

It really isn't Vista's fault. Vista is a good OS, it's just that everyone else can't keep up with it's growth. Everyone's working their ass off trying to code a nice software for vista.

Yeah, that is vista's fault. What good is an OS if other software can't keep up with it, thus creating random problems? I want my software to work good and stable, and pretty much 95% of the time. I'm just frustrated, companies are getting too far ahead of things, newer is not always better.

I would absolutely be happy if Dell would get on the ball and have all XP drivers available! =)

Why would you want to use XP? The new Inspirons were designed for Vista, as it's a fantastic OS...if you wanna ***** to anyone, ***** to the software developers who improperly coded to cause the errors...

Don't blame Vista if you're the only person on the planet that can't open AIM and Firefox. I have AIM and Firefox open now, without any problems whatsoever. And the internet is perfectly fine. Vista is fine. You are not.

No, I think that is the problem. If you've ever used aim 6.0+ you will understand why I use the older version of AIM. Firefox is updated though, I think I have the situation set, I still had drivers to install.

I use aim 6.0, it's a much bigger improvement. Also, it's much better then TRITON.
