    how do I tell what port my dvd drive is on?

    In the BIOS all it says is "modular bay device." Is that primary master (doubt it), secondary master, primary slave, secondary slave, or what? I need to flash a firmware to the correct port.

    You should be able to do that from within Windows...what laptop are we talking about?
